In June 2016, 4th grader Zoe Oliver was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Several years later, in and out of remission, after multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and undergoing a grueling bone marrow transplant (that was made possible by her sister, Charlotte, being a match) Zoe’s perseverance and strength pulled her through.
Zoe was looked after for 7 months at St. Jude by an amazing world class, highly-skilled, and passionate team of doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists and many other types of health care providers, always treating her with compassion and kindness and always with the most professional attitudes.
The whole family was looked after by St. Jude, being housed free of charge so that they could all focus completely on Zoe's health.
This March will mark Zoe’s one year post-transplant.
And this year, Zoe will be at the ride as a healthy participant!
